Welcome to Mylerun ("Mylerun," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using our app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use Mylerun.
Mylerun is a running app that combines real-world running activity with territory-based game features and race competition. Players log miles to claim real-world territory (turf zones), challenge rival historical runs (ghosts), participate in organized races, and compete on leaderboards. Race results, turf zone ownership, and leaderboard rankings are based on your actual running activity recorded through the app.
You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of your account information and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide truthful and accurate information when registering and using the app. You must be at least 13 years old to use Mylerun. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
You agree not to:
Mylerun's game features — including turf zone capture, ghost races, leaderboards, and coin rewards — are designed to reflect genuine running activity. You agree not to cheat, exploit, or manipulate any game mechanic. This includes, but is not limited to: using vehicles instead of running, falsifying GPS data, sharing accounts to pool mileage, exploiting bugs or glitches for unfair advantage, or using any method to generate running activity you did not actually perform. We reserve the right to void results, remove turf zones, reset coins, suspend leaderboards, or terminate accounts for confirmed cheating.
You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for any activity conducted under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account or any other security breach. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your login credentials.
You may create content through the app, such as your display name, bio, squad names, and messages to other users. You retain ownership of your content but grant us a license to use, display, and process it as needed to operate the app's features. You represent that you have the right to submit any content you post and that it does not violate any law or third-party rights. We may remove content that we believe violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable.
Races, turf zones, leaderboards, coins, and related features are game elements provided for entertainment and motivation. Results are based on actual running activity as recorded by the app's GPS tracking. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of GPS data, run measurements, or race timing, and game results may be affected by device limitations, signal quality, and other technical factors. We reserve the right to adjust, reset, or modify game features, scores, or rankings at any time to maintain fairness and integrity.
Mylerun is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the app. You use the app at your own risk, particularly when running outdoors — always follow traffic laws and exercise caution.
You may delete your account at any time through the app's profile settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the app at our sole discretion, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in cheating or exploitation of game mechanics, or posed a risk to other users or the service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes within the app. Your continued use of Mylerun after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
